This is a great small town cafe!
We ordered pizza, and the topping choices were the basic old school variety. The crust was pre-made and nothing exceptional, but oh! the amount of toppings! Very generous on the toppings! Exceptional value for the money.
Tossed salads before the meal were good portion sizes as well. Simple, just leaf lettuce (yay!) a couple of tomato slices and some shredded cheese, but the ingredients were fresh and delicious.
As always, I was not a fan of the "one refill with large soda" policy, but that was my only complaint.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. One of the owners was talking with some of the customers like they were old friends. It was clear from the conversation that he had just met one of the people...yet he talked as if they were old friends.
The restaurant was immaculate and it seems like a place where locals go regularly for good food, good conversation and good friends.

We will definitely come again! They have a pie lady who brings in many different kinds. I had the coconut cream that was thick and made the real old fashioned way. It was chilled to perfection! We also ordered a pecan pie that was chock full of pecans with a heavy thick filling. What a gem this place is, you must stop and enjoy a meal here.

Was there just before noon on a recent Sunday. Place was about 1/4 full. We had the buffet. Disappointed to see many of the buffet choices nearly empty and not being refilled. Some of the choices were not hot enough either. I may be back, but not for buffet. Otherwise, staff was friendly and place appeared clean.

This is an absolute gem for a small community. I work nerdy and quite often choose to eat here. The owner Gus, is one of the most friendly people you will meet and the food quality is wonderful. If you like good home style cafe cooking I recommend Gus & Tony's to all.
